Adam & Zephyr
Alex has a natural affinity with dogs, and has been excellent with Zephyr.
We have been working on loose-lead walking for the past 4 weeks and Zephyr's progress is undeniable. He now understands 'how to walk', and knows that loose-lead walking is best for both of us!
Alex is very reliable, and has a comprehensive understanding of canine behaviour.
I can thoroughly recommend her for all aspects of training and dog-walking.

Wilma has had issues with walking and leads since she was a puppy – we’re not sure why. We have exhausted multiple trainers and behaviourists in search for a solution to Wilma’s issues, but it looks like Alex may have finally cracked it!
Over the past 3 weeks Alex has done some intensive re-training and desensitising with Wilma. We have had a strict schedule to follow of physical and mental activities to do, instead of taking Wilma out for walks. It looks like this hard work may have paid off! Even our son said he took her out the other day for a short walk with no problems.
The daily schedules have been incredibly helpful to follow, as were the objectives and aims Alex put together. They were very detailed and showed a really well thought through plan, specific to Wilma’s issues.
With Alex’s help we have learnt how to read Wilma’s signs and to better understand what she may/may not want.
Alex has been nothing but patient with both us and Wilma and has been so dedicated and determined to help Wilma.

Alex has been working with myself and Nelly with training to tackle her reactivity, mainly to other dogs. Alex understood the issues we were experiencing and was able to explain clearly how we could look to tackle these. We had a number of one on one sessions and I found her practical advice and psychological insights really helpful. Since we’ve been doing the training, I’ve seen an improvement in Nelly’s behaviour, although I realise this is a long process and Alex explained there will not be instant results. Alex is a thoughtful and caring trainer and can’t recommend her highly enough.

I’ve watched/read so much and had info overload, but the way Alex breaks it down and simplifies it is super helpful and easy to follow.
I love the tips around using non-chewy treats and interesting to think about trigger stacking. That makes SO much sense as someone who works in managing challenging behaviour and talks about how something small can tip someone into a fight/flight reaction.
Thanks to Alex, I’m confident that we will continue making good progress!

Alex and my dog Fable were inseparable from day one, her calm and warm tone galvanised a terrific relationship. My little Yorkshire terrier mingles with all manner of different breeds and on the occasions I’ve been home to see the exchange, my little boy is hopping with excitement. Alex is a fantastic dog-walker – super reliable and always cheerful and enthusiastic. My German Shepherd, Cara, absolutely loves going for walks with Alex and goes bonkers with excitement when she appears at the door.
Alex ensures the dogs in Cara's walking group will be a good mix and considers their temperaments.
It’s lovely too, that Alex sends photos and little videos from the walk so we can see how much fun Cara is having.

We cannot recommend Alex and her team enough. On a personal level Alex was so easy to work with, professional, flexible, efficient and always happy to help you out if you have last minute requirements.
On a doggy level, our 8 year old (slightly needy) cockapoo adored Alex from the start. Knowing exactly when to belt down the stairs to go off, tail wagging.
We are moving and our biggest sadness is no more Alex.

Alex is an amazing dog walker. Her positive energy is infectious. She is always upbeat and Momo absolutely adores her. Whenever Alex picks Momo up from our house, Momo is so excited she can hardly contain herself. Alex plays with the dogs as well as walk them.
